It all started that wonderful M o n d a y morning. I poured myself my first cup of coffee. I sat my mug down for a second and in that time that it takes a tiny toddler to see the cup of coffee unattended, I swear they have a sixth sense about these things, unattended coffee, markers, scissors, pretty much anything that is capable of staining and impossible to remove, my coffee was spilt. I should have just gave up right then and there but I have this hopeless hope that it wouldn’t happen again. Well to make my short story long I picked up that spilt coffee and poured myself another cup to only set it down (<—<< that was a mistake) to pick up the toddler that previously spilt my coffee to have another toddler come a spill it a second time. And this my dear reader should have been the clue that this week would not slow down. This week has also brought the not so lovely fever and tummy aches to our house. We have been going through this week in a haze.
I have day dreamed of completely getting rid of all things except for a few unbreakable none spilling dishes. My parents had this book when i was growing up from the 5o’s about how the world would be in the 2000’s. It had Plastic houses, flying cars etc. I need one of those plastic houses!! 😀
